Amy Struckmeyer Workshop: Wild Geese FPP

A traditional flying geese block has a width to height ratio of 2:1. Using straightforward foundation paper piecing, flying geese can be made in a wide variety of proportions with virtually no math involved.

In this class, participants will learn the basics of FPP to make more-than-basic blocks. She’ll share tips for precise foundation paper piecing and discuss ways to strategically use color and geometry to create sophisticated designs with these unique blocks.

If you're new to foundation piecing, fear not -- this is a simple pattern, perfect for FPP beginners. And if you're not a beginner, you'll enjoy the myriads of design opportunities these shapes provide.

Turn your finished "wild geese" into a small quilt with the pattern provided.
