What’s a Retreat?
- This is a special gathering in a very inspiring location right along Lake Michigan.
- You’ll have all day and night for sewing time to work on your own projects without the distraction of daily life.
- Spend time with other guild members. Tell stories, build friendships and gain fresh inspiration.
- A chance to explore a new location.
- A way to have lots of fun with like minded individuals!
The Retreat Room includes:
- Large Cutting Mats & 24″ rulers on raised cutting tables.
- Irons & Ironing Boards w/water spray bottles.
- Assorted Quilting Tools (in case you forget something.)
Important Details:
- The center is not a hotel. Rooms are private, single occupancy and include a walk-in shower.
- The residential portion of the center has quiet rules that you must respect.
- You will be asked to provide an emergency contact as well as your vehicle & license plate information.
- If you choose the Room & Meals option, meals are prepared by an offsite catering company. The catering team can meet vegetarian, gluten free, and lactose intolerant diets; however, are not equipped to accommodate food preferences. Meals will be served at the following times: Continental breakfast available from 6-10 am, lunch 12-12:30 pm, and dinner 5:30-6 pm.
- A beverage center with coffee, tea, juice, and ice/water is available at all times to all guests.
- Participants are welcome to bring in their own food to store in our Retreat Room refrigerator.
