Quilt Show Donations
The revenue from the sale of donated items gives us funds for our incredible monthly programs. Without the sales of these items our annual dues would be so much more than $35.
We will collect items at monthly meetings from March to August 2026.
If you have any questions, concerns, would you like to donate but need assistance or alternative arrangements email psqgquiltshow@gmail.com.
Fabric Resale
- Fold your fabric selvedges together with the right sides out.
Remove long strings but leave usable tails as a bonus to our shoppers.
Measure the fabric along the point where there are 2 selvedges to determine size.
Write down the length on a small piece of paper.
Use a safety pin or a stapler to attach the paper to the selvedge.
Note: It’s okay to bundle pieces that are the same length together with one note for all.
Fold neatly and sort into groupings based on the following:
Short yardage – more than 2.5″ but less than 18″
Half Yards – 18″ but less than 36″
Full Yards – 36″ but less than 54″
Yardage – over 54″ (1.5 yards)
Fat Quarters (Must have one selvedge measuring 18″)
Precut bundles including Fat Quarters (Flannel bundles are welcomed.)
Other individual precut items – sorted by size. If you have usable scraps, chunks and pieces that are big enough to make a 2.5”, 5” or 10” squares please cut them into squares.
Sealed kits – All types of sewing kits are acceptable, not just quilting!
Kits opened but not started – make sure it appears all fabrics are included as well as the pattern &/or pattern information. If you’ve borrowed something from the kit please add a note.
UFOs – provide as much information as you can.
Panels – Please make sure that the panel is complete.
Orphans Blocks – Give them a hug with your iron.
Please use clean, unscented plastic bags, plastic bins or reusable bags.
Reusable bags will be gathered for reuse at the show for our shoppers.
If you would like your plastic bin returned please label it with your name.
